Opinions?
Mulling the idea of bringing Ellicia to the states briefly... maybe just 4-5 days... just me and her. Chance to see people before the treatments get too rough, etc.
Opinions?

I think that's a really good idea. Maybe it will help ease the stress of the recent events a little-if only for a little while and give you two time to re-connect. It will also give her more happy times to reflect on while she's going through what's to come. Go for it! If you decide to do it, have a wonderful trip!
What do the docs say? Again,I put myself in her place...re my story in Houston...what would I want....I would have wanted to see my Mom if it were possible. Is there time to put off chemo, or will they start before you would go?
If only we had that crystal ball! If that is what you and Ellicia really want, go for it, providing it does not hinder her treatment in anyway - discuss it with the Doctors. Remember also if you return to the States for the few days that the leaving to go back to Germany will also be hard for Ellicia knowing what treatement she is about face. What affect will that have on Ellicia....she is the one to consider the most.
If you go, we hope you have the most enjoyable trip.

Hello from South Florida on Thanksgiving day:
We are very grateful and thankful that the US Armed Forces stand between us and our enemies. Stay safe.
If only we had that crystal ball!

God be with you both.
