Do we have to memorize the word below? Can't the spammers see it also? I don't understand fully.
I also do not understand - this word verification, if we can see it why can't "just anyone" look up this site and see it, therefore comment?
Also I am not sure on the "sign up" to choose an identity, I went so far, was not sure, so decided on using the anonymous identity, therefore sign with out names.

Reid, I noticed on the news here that 4 US soldiers had been killed in Afghanistan and 3 wounded. Was this near your posting?
I also noticed that this word verification does change each time.

Yup, spam has hit the blogosphere as well lately, I was also surprised at my blog attracting comments... from robots. :-(
