AAFES Raising Gas Prices
Gas will be going up to $2.559 on February 1. We can only hope that gas will drop again come March. AAFES is raising gas prices by 10 cents per gallon. Thank you, AAFES.

I noticed that the station I use has raised prices 3 times this week. We may all have to get bicycles!
On my recent trip, the gas station I usually stop at was $2.13. Returning to the same station 4 days later it was $2.18. In the adjacent state where I live it is not $2.38. Don't get your hopes up, Eagle.
Here in southern Queensland, Australia petrol (gas) is today $1.14 per litre and there is 3.7 litres to a US gallon = $4.21 per US gallon we are paying and it has been higher in recent times. When visitng the US we have always found your fuel to be cheaper than ours. Fuel is also more expensive in other Australian States and in out back Queensland than it is on the coastal areas of Queensland. I am afraid it is something we can't do without and "the powers of be" know this, hence the fuel hikes all around the world. Ethonal is being added to fuel here now to bring prices down...ethonal comes from Sugar cane, and Queensland is one of the biggest producers of sugar cane - in fact the largest sugar terminal in the world is here in Mackay.
