... and sometimes it's quite busy.
So far, tonight is one of the busy ones. I walked in and before I even set my stuff down, I was told to go relieve an OR room. I did, and I spent the next four hours up there. Not too bad, as it was an interesting case. I like watching the surgeons work.
Tonight, they were mending a guy's shoulder. I heard them say it was supposed to be a 90 minute case. They'd already been going for awhile when I got there, so it must have ended up being about five hours. Still interesting...
I'd hoped to get some chow when I came down, as I'd worked right past dinner. No, we turned out to be very short-handed and busy. Just that kind of night.
But all in all, it's still good work!
