Currently enjoying one of my favorite movies. I watch it everytime it comes on (and I know it's on, of course). Have the DVD, too. Before that... the VHS tape.
Wasn't a huge success at the box office, but then, many of the truly great ones aren't.
The music is excellent.
From what I've heard from those who'd know, it's fairly true to life.
And, it's got lots of great "lessons".

One of our all time favorite's. I can't tell you how many times we rented it years ago before it was available at a decent price on VHS.
I even sent a copy of the dvd to hubs while he was in the 'stan.
