They've Medevac'd Thomas... He was evac'd about 4 hours after being born. They took him to a special children's hospital. I've visited him several times. He's in a box... basically a super-incubator. It keeps him warm, plus provides oxygen, plus monitors all his vitals, etc. He's got all kinds of tubes going in and out...
Very tough day. Not the way it's supposed to go. Haven't even gotten to hold him.
They let Ellicia hold him, just for a few minutes. Then the staff started getting fidgety and insisting that it was time to go.
Ellicia is still in the hospital here in town... kids are being watched elsewhere. House is empty.
